Working Mechanism – Ovral
Ovral ceases release of mature eggs, which if available can cause pregnancy. It thickens the cervix neck, not allowing sperms entering uterus. Fertilized egg (if any) cannot develop to an embryo as the medication breaks uterine lining needed to hold the pregnancy parts. When the medicine course is over, the user begins bleeding. To stop pregnancy ahead, the female must begin with another Ovral pack from the 29th day, even if she is still into periods.
Dosage – Ovral
21 days Ovral course includes oral intake of one active tablet everyday at the same time. Then the person has a wait period of 7 days before beginning a new medication box. Ovral 28 day course includes similar 21 day procedure as mentioned before. In the later 7 days, the woman consumes an inert pill daily. She can start a new medicine course from 29th day.NOTE: Inert tablets are non-hormonal. Missing dose of inert pills will not reduce efficacy of Ovral contraceptive. Try not missing dose of active medicines, as it could risk pregnancy.
